Hey Mike, Oh, i will most certainly always use my Fujis. This would primarily be for plane spotting. I have been looking for something like this for quite some time now. This with a nice 300-400mm telephoto would be waaay cheaper then buying Fuji's 100-400mm lens. Anyhow, still thinking about it.

Well, i got it. I also bought a new 70-300 VR to go along with it. I traded in two of my Fuji lenses that don't get much use and all said and done, the lens, camera, 2 extra batteries and the charger cost me $350 CAD. This will be my birding/plane spotting rig.

I sold my 50-230 and 18-135. They are both great lenses, so I did not sell them because of bad results. Honestly, there is no bad Fuji lens. I sold them because I wanted something longer and more responsive for my plane spotting. To get over 230mm with Fuji, I would have to sell a body part, lol.
