Hey everyone, i joined the other day, but today i actually went to BB and picked up a D3100 bundled w/ 18-55 VR lens, i got a really good deal, they had it for $598.99 and the $20 reward zone coupons i had helped..lol..I also picked up a Lowepro slingshot 200 AW bag..I am not new to photography as i have a Coolpix P100, but when it comes to the DSLR family i am a newbie...So far i am just getting use to the basic settings and features, but am excited about learning more, and getting more advanced lenses :)...I see myself learning a lot fast, due to all the great resources i see you all nikonites have to offer....DSLR its about time right..ha

Welcome! I just got my D3100 about a Month ago, great camera. I recently graduated from a point and shoot also, makes a huge difference!

I see you are well on your way to contracting NAS (Nikon Acquisition Disease). It's incurable and highly contagious. A lot of them here have it. Enjoy the site.
