Hi all, I just joined tonight and happy to be amongst Nikon friends! I've been shooting with Nikon since film days were just ending and Nikon's first digital cameras were on the market. I started off with the N80 35mm SLR, then quickly obtained a Coolpix 2200, then the incredible Coolpix 8700 (incredible and expensive for its time), the wonderful D90, a full frame D700 (sold after a few years, too heavy for me!), my trusty D7000, and now dipping toes into mirrorless with a Z6. That makes almost a quarter of a century of Nikon love for me. I do earn money from much of my work, but mostly I just love taking photos. I describe myself as having a strong photojournalistic instinct ... to have and to hold, as I say, and never to forget ... a place, a sight, a moment in time. I am still learning, especially about equipment compatibility, which is why I am here, so, see you in the forums!
