Ok, thanks. So, it's the 10-pin connector on the front of the camera. I have a star tracker that has its own intervalometer that I want to connect to my D4S.

I have experimented with the intervalometer connector of my Skywatcher AZ-GTi and let's just say I trust my dedicated intervalometer remote release much more. For $40 or less it is something I never regretted buying.

Good luck, I recommend a practice run during the day to verify.

I have the Vello ShutterBoss II that can attach to my D750. I believe there is a twin model made by another company, possibly by Phottix. I've only used mine a few times, but reviews highly rate it.

It's like this one. However, I'm pretty sure this ShutterBoss II is also made with a 10-pin connector if that's what the D4 accepts. The one I linked has the DC2 connector.
