Error "Press Shutter Release Button Again

Hey gang sorry it has been a while since I have been on here. But still wear the cap I won. :cool:
Any way I'm sure someone out there can help me out of this issue I just came up with while shooting at a softball tourney. (Error press shutter release button again) :( I have a D3100. I ended up missing the final game due to this. Which they won of coarse.

This was one of the good shots I got. And yes she was safe..... dirty but safe.

That is a great shot. You really have to look to see that there is a person in that dust.

When you press the shutter release again does that fix it or is it dead? Have you tried all the basics like removing the battery and letting it stay out for a minute and then trying again? Seems like I remember another post like this sometime and it was a mirror stuck? I think that was on the D5100 though. Do a search here on the forum for "Error press shutter release button again" and you can read the posts about it and see if that is the same problem you have.

I did see that video but it is a d40 and as I only have one eye, :pirate: I can't do tiny detail no depth of field so taking my camera apart does not thrill me. But thanks for the input.
