Dark Images when using manual mode on D850

Hi all. I want to start out by saying that I am very new to using my D850, please no judgement! I usually use P mode for everyday shooting, but I would really like to get comfortable with M mode so I can start adjusting shutter speeds. When I use M mode, my images are super dark and it seems I cannot fix it no matter what I do. I have tried adjusting aperture and iso. Any thoughts?

I would start with setting your iso to auto iso and see if that helps.

Can you try to post a jpeg from camera that is not edited? You likely would need to resize smaller but just so we could look at the exif data to see where you may be going wrong.
