Buying a camera and 2 lens kit

Hi

My daughter is doing A level photography and I am looking to buy her the D5100 with 18 - 55 VR lens. The question is what 55 - 200/330 lens would I get for her.

Also if anyone has a good recommendation as to where I would get a good deal (UK) it would be appreciated.

I agree, if the 18-105mm is available over the 18-55mm do that.

55-300mm is a decent zoom, I'd opt for a 70-300mm myself. uUed or refurbished may be in your price range?
