black on photo

I noticed when I was taking some shots that there was a "jerking" in the viewfinder when I pushed the shutter release button. When reviewing the shots this is what I saw. I turned the live view on an it stopped and hasn;t retuned so far. Anyone know what had happened?

Hi Diana and welcome...I don't know what would have caused...I don't believe it would be a viewfinder problem...
Have you tried it since...

I am unsure but to me it looks like the mirror might be jamming.
