Anyone have the new Tamron 16-300mm?

Well, it's here and, first impression, one sweet lens. Heavier, but actually feels better in the hand than the 55-200. Focus is faster and more accurate. Zoom barrel is stiff; it will probably open up with use and I'd rather that than the other way around. Here's a coupe of very quick shots from both ends of the range

I was also wondering about the lens... So far reviews seem to be pretty good. Might have to put this on my B-Day or X-Mas wish list.
