Another 'Nikonite' is born!

Hello everyone,

I have just joined today and I am really pleased to have found this forum. I am a novice / hobbyist with a D3100, having made the leap last year from the Lumix Micro 4/3 system, which I was never really fully happy with. I am very pleased with the D3100 and the quality of images I am able to get with it. This week I have just purchased the Nikon AF-S Nikkor 35mm f/1.8 prime lens as my first addition to the standard kit. I am keen to get any advice and tips on using this lens so I have posted a separate thread in the lens section.

I look forward to getting more acquainted with this forum and many of its users over the next few weeks and months.

Finally, does anyone subscribe to N Magazine and, if so, is it a good magazine to get?

Regarding N, I do not subscribe.. I did read one issue while on a road trip and it was nice... I do not know how often it is published, price et...

Guidelines to adding a photo to your post.

1. Resize photo to 1000px on the long side.
2. Resolution set to 72px

These guidelines will be good for viewing on a computer but will not be good for printing. This will help safeguard your copyright.
