Bosque del Apache Wildlife Refuge . . . Just down the road (and across the mountain range). In a few weeks these fields will become marshes for the cranes and snow geese. Right now they're full of sunflowers, lush green foliage, and mosquitoes.

I'm trying to develop a fondness for subject matter I'm not usually drawn to. I shot this on the main drag in town . . . I found the color and the reflection intriguing. I keep coming back to this photo so obviously, there's something I like about it, but am not sure that it's earned its way...

If you're into shooting bands or covers for musicians, you might find this of value. Some interesting techniques using smoke and a zoom lens ( He had to go back to the Nikon D3s because LR does not recognize the D4 in tether). (You have to get past the "middle finger" thing . . . sigh . . . )...
