Spring in the bluegrass. We get a lot of press for our horses. Cattle is the cash industry. A bunch of new calves on the farm across the lane. Just getting there legs. They cannot decide whether to hop or run. When I was a kid and one of the calves would get out it was my...
Try not to miss this thread @Blacktop. Really enjoy the photo/music selections. Makes the memories roll. There was a bunch of us that got together and jammed every Friday night till we could not hold up the guitars on Saturday morning sometime just before dawn, and this is the kind of stuff we...

Coming home after a hectic day... saw a man with a bit of misfortune. Moving rolled hay, even with a 4-wheel drive tractor is not garaunteed to go well.

I know it is early to post for today, but I never know how Sundays will go... We had a really clear sky and I had a little lite noise pollution from the neighbors security light, but I liked using the 10 mm.

Another cloudy day, but that was good. Me and bright light are not on speaking terms... Some pictures of Jersey at 3200 ISO. I was not sure I would get a shot today.

Today I went to lunch with my wife and some of her friends from church. She works in a commercial part of Frankfort. I had her drop me off and I walked to her office. Gray day called for B&W.
Thanks for the dove shot @cwgrizz. I like the bell too. Brings back a memory. A friends mom on an adjoining farm in Wisconsin had one in the yard and that was how she called him home for meals. Man you could hear it for what seemed like miles. Very cool shot.

Snowy day. I actually took a picture just like this plate years ago with a point and shoot camera on one of my many trips to the Wall. The plate was a gift.
I don't normally long for the change of seasons like I do this year... but I think I know why this year is different... it is your posts and @wev and 1/2 a dozen others in warm climates with green and color that is driving it. As I look thru these 366 posts every morning while I am waking up...

This is one of those days where the mind was willing but the body was weak... Took some cloud pics as I walked the dog mid day. But it was a beautiful blue sky at a brisk 32F.

Kind of had a more active morning this morning sunrise and than wandered down by Old Crow Distillery. Old Crow was some nasty bourbon when I was young and they went out of business long ago, but there has been this resurgence of craft bourbon and they are restoring the...

Well the day is off to a great start. I got out to capture my sunrise with the Rokinon 10mm /2.8 lens this morning. I am enjoying the wide angle... it is interesting. Hope to get out a little later today if I am up to it. Mondays are a bit unpredictable.
And @mikew...

A friend of mine gave me loan of a Rokinon 10mm /2.8 lens. I really had not fooled with wide angle so my friend loaned it to me to try out. I have to say that I like it... but there is a bit to learn about using it. I got the lens set up properly in Non CPU in the D7200...

Went to a little Restaurant and bakery in town, Heavens 2 Betsy. Our friend Pennies and Roses were playing to the late lunch crowd. It was a lot of fun.

Went to an appointment downtown today and across the road is this old Garage. Old John Deere Tractor and a Pontiac Le Mans. Cannot remember the year... 68-70 maybe... dain bramage... takes away my memory. There was a time I knew that stuff at a glance. But there is...
