Landing on ice ain't easy!

My grandma cooked in a wood stove most of her life. When she finally got a gas stove she disliked it and kept using the old wood stove for quite a while. :)

Looks like just bare ground and rocks, but this House Finch was finding lots of good stuff to eat. Life lesson for us lowly humans, I think. :)

Mom's head is just visible while Dad sits above, contemplating raising yet another family. :) As it is each year, eagles are laying eggs in our area despite the cold weather and snow. Good luck, my friends! :)

Thanks for the info, that's pretty cool. What I don't understand is why when I click on most pictures, mine or those that others have posted, they resize to fit my screen, but others do not.
