@Marilynne some kinda small moth, Wev thinks cabbage moth, going to goggle it.

Thanks @wev wings were tucked in, kinda looked like a caterpiller shaped body.

ID anyone, about 1 1/2 inch (37mm) long, thin, So Cal. Its on a Stucco wall.

this was about 1 1/2 inches long. Its on a wall so i rotated it 90 deg, a light shining down on it and i am leaning against the wall to steady myself.
