I bought two more lenses for my outfit, The Nikon 40mm micro Nikkor, and a Tamron 70~300 f/4-5.6 Di LD Macro. The Tamron came today and I took this shot just sitting where I opened the box and tried it out. I really want to investigate the macro function of this lens when I get an opportunity... -

Oh NO......That's NOT a Hair.....
On my focusing screen.....it's a small hairline crack. Not the end of the world but I wonder how much of a pain it will be to change. I remember my old F's there was a button to release the Photomic T finder and then another release for the focusing screen. You just up ended the camera and... -

35mm or 50mm?
OK, I kept reading about lenses and instead of things becoming more clear, I just got confused, it happens. I'm not asking any alphabet soup questions here about what would work and focus automatically and which ones would meter ttl but not auto focus, etc. All that is what got me confused in... -
