    Weekly Challenge July 23-30: "Fire"

Looking at the concern of @Bob Blaylock. I cannot necessarily speak for anyone else, including the Weekly Challenge Team. I frame it this way because the Weekly Challenge is pretty much wide open to the individual photographer's interpretation, imagination and even capabilities...

    Eyelight's Rest of the Story

Sometime you have an idea; an image in your head. So, you play around with it, try a little this and a little that and the next thing you know, you've created something you can't even recognize yourself. Another abstract photo is born.

How Sensor Size, Focal Length, Distance and Subject Size Relate to Each Other

Note: I think I have this worked out, but that does not mean it makes sense or that it is a perfect explanation. The diagrams are based on real numbers, but the math is absent to protect the innocent (keep it visual). I started fiddling with the diagrams the other day, but my Cadd software...

Fine Tune Autofocus: Could This Have Been the Culprit?

Depending on the photos. Unless they all had shallow DOF, it seems something should have been in focus. Glanced at the online manual and it does say that, wait, let me do this:

    Eyelight's Rest of the Story

I almost forgot about these little fellers. They were hiding near the cannon. Almost dark and in the shadows. I could just barely tell something was there, before the AF assist lit them up. "A Shot in the Dark"

    Eyelight's Rest of the Story

Ran into Lee again, standing in the same spot, sipping from the same mug. Actually, I borrowed the cap, laid it upside down on a table and got a shot I could cut the back of the cap out and layered it under the cap he was wearing before.

    Eyelight's Rest of the Story

Inspired by @Pretzel finding an invisible person sitting in his living room, I went out searching. Took me a while, but found this guy sipping coffee by a couple trees. Appears to be married. Missed something, but oh well. better luck next time.

    Eyelight's Rest of the Story

I was just wondering if there was a way to make blacktop more interesting. No, not that @Blacktop. It's just blacktop, but maybe a little over-processed. The mysterious road. Bluetop??

Firefox Backspaces Great Comments into Oblivion

I find as time marches on I like less and less to dig into a problem and go for the solution solo, so thought I would inquire of the collective. I use Firefox when browsing and posting. Occasionally I decide to use the backspace key to erase/edit something and evidently do not have my cursor...
