    Remote Control Stuff

When I saw this in a hobby/craft store some time in 2003 or 2004, I thought it looked like something I'd want, but not nearly enough to pay $305.99 for it. I guess that's the tragedy of this toy, was that it was a really cool toy, but just cost too much to manufacture, for them to be able to...

    Remote Control Stuff

Tank you, very much! I bought this about ten years ago, and just within the last few weeks, I got it into my head to get it out, and perform some much-needed maintenance and repairs on it, including building it a new battery pack out of a bunch of old AA-sized NiMh cells I had sitting around...

Weekly Challenge Apr 29 - May 06: "Fruity"

Since I don't expect any opportunity to photograph Bruce Jenner or Steve Cook in the foreseeable future, I guess I'll have to use something more conventional for the “Fruity” theme.

    Weekly Challenge 4/01 - Colours

I'd shot a couple of other series of pictures, as possible candidates for this challenge. First, a jar of colorful candies, and later, a basket of colorful cat toys. I wasn't really satisfied with either, but figured I was probably going to use one or the other of them. Then, I happened to...

Mob Rule & Shooting In Public - A Horror Story +1

I had some distant memory of coming across a concise, one-page document from an attorney regarding the rights of photographers. A bit of Googling, and I found it at http://www.krages.com/ThePhotographersRight.pdf. Bert P. Krages II is apparently an attorney who specializes in issues...
