    Sorry if I have hijacked this thread. Have anyone of you guys heard of this Kamlan 28mm f1.4 lens? It looks decent but I am not sure what adapter is required to mount it on my D610. Any idea?

    In my opinion, it can take great macro picture. The only 'disadvantages' are having to go very close to the subject and dept of field if the subject is too big.

    Yes, Raynox on both your 50 and 85 works fine. $25 is cheap and fast way to get into macro. The only thing left is to keep shooting. No amount of tools will help you if you didn't shoot. All the best.

    I personally find that the D610 couple with AFS 24-120 F4 is almost what you need for travel photography. The only short if any, is the super wide and zoom above 200 mm.
