Still loving my 200-500vr. It performs like a champ at minimum focus distance.

After a rather dull start to the day the weather perked up nicely around lunchtime. The d500/200-500vr combo coped rather well with the harsh midday sun and strong backlight.

Lots of nice sunshine this weekend. Nothing out of the ordinary bird-wise but there you have it.

Well, the light comes and goes and its pretty cold in the uk atm but here are a few more from my local patch. I just love the 200-500vr. In the 5 months I have owned it I have not used another lens.
