Looks like a sage sparrow -- was it bobbing its tail a lot as it perched?

I wouldn't put much store in that comparison as it it based on the old version of the Tam 150-600. Most of the features discussed were redesigned to match or exceed the Sigma version. I have shot both and the Tam G2 is the better lens of the two and the company's service can not be beat.
