    MULTIPLE IMAGES

FYI, there are other addons/plugins for various browsers that will give the EXIF data when you hover a pointer/cursor over them. I use EXIFY with Firefox, but it's also available for Chrome. EXIFY

    Post your church shots

A little unconventional but here's a church shot. I call this "Intersection"

    Post your Raptors

Coming back from a nature hike I spotted this red tail hawk? hanging out in a cemetery. Seemed awful fixated on something below its perch. (I'm not much of a bird person, but I will certainly take advantage of an opportunity! :) )

    Bracketing

I'm shooting with a D850 and since I started shooting more landscapes I've also been bracketing my shots (usually a group of 5) for HDR stacking in post. However, I'm also shooting single shots interspersed with the brackets. Can the D850 rename a bracket series to make them obvious (eg...

    Alaska Trip

Here are some shots from my trip to Alaska a couple of months ago. The birds and otter were taken at Resurrection Bay, the rest were at the Alaska Conservation Center. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9.

    Wireless trigger

After reading the manual and doing some online research into Nikon's IR and RF triggers I'm left a little confused. Is it really true that the D850 has no *built-in* remote trigger receiver; neither IR nor RF? Thanks!

    Photo Locations - Anchorage, AK

So my wife and I will be in Anchorage, AK between 4/29 - 5/4. I'm looking for specific photography location suggestions (glaciers, wildlife, landscape, auroa borealis, etc [but frankly this is probably once in a lifetime so I'll shoot damn near anything]) within a 2-3 hour drive or so. Also...

    Lens Focus Noise

While learning about shooting video with my D7200, I'd read lens focus noise was a pretty typical issue with the on camera mics. So I decided to buy one of these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015R0IQGW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Unfortunately, I still get lens focus...

    Tap-In

Has anyone used the Tamron TAP-In Console? Among other things, it indicates you can fine tune the focus lenses. But presumably you'd have to do this in conjunction with some sort of lens focus chart? Or does it have some other internal method of determining focus? Any ideas? Thanks!

    Sand Bags

So, this may be a silly question (and possibly in the wrong place). What are people filling the sand bags used to weight lighting and backdrop stands? It seems to me that if you were to use beach or traction sand in them it'd find it's way out through the weave of the bag and maybe even cause...

    Flash Info

Do flash specifics ever get saved anywhere in EXIF or IPTC? Now that I'm starting to work with OCF it'd be awesome to go back and see what the flash settings were.

    Super Zoom

I'm looking into purchasing a "Super Zoom" (yes I know about their IQ issues) and have seen the Tamron 16-300mm lens. And while I currently have a D7200 I'm looking for one that is actually an FX lens since I plan to move to full frame in the future. However, I'm having problems finding a...

    Culling

First let me say that I totally understand that culling photos is ultimately a personal decision. But since I've started shooting sports (roller derby to be precise) my total yearly shots have gone from roughly 2,500/yr to 10,500+ so far this year. Yes, I ditch all the "bad" (out of focus...

    Grey Market?

One of my friends recently purchased a D5300 bundle from someone who decided not to become a wedding photographer (yea!). What was included in the bundle looks suspiciously like an Amazon bundle that's listed as an "Import Model". What's the easiest way to determine if the d5300 is actually a...
