Just registered to ask this question. I am looking for a 50mm lens, B&H has two options f1.8 for $220, and f1.4 for $440. Is it really worth $220 for the 0.4 difference? I don't know what this actually represents in aperture opening, speed, and bokeh. Will I be able to get a lot more light...
