Hi there guys,

I'm looking to sell my D700. A very hard parting, but necessary.

Used for over 2 years with relatively little action in between while I was in a sponsored training. Shutter actuation stands at 5926 out of the rated 150,000.

Condition: Excellent, small scratches on screen protector. One small nick on CF card door (pictured). Rest of the body is well maintained and in pristine condition. No wear whatsover.

Edit: Perfect working condition. Brought the camera to a Nikon service center for a checkup.

Comes with original box and documents. 2 manuals, one in English, rest assured.

bonus: Comes with brand new battery replacing the old one, so you'll get many new charges out of that one (pictured also).
bonus 2: Shipping's on me =)

I am located in Hong Kong, but shipping to wherever the buyer is, is on me. You can PM me direct here, or email me at [email protected].

Price, I'm looking for $1590USD (In HKD roughly $12,333), but am open to reasonable offers.

Preferred payment method: paypal

I would love to say yes, (and yes I do have plans to acquire another dslr later down the road), but I needed the money for reasons other than a different body.

Hi Bill,

Affirmative, non-US version. I bought a legit model in Asia, which would make it non-USA.

I'll reiterate that I am open to offers if you believe the price I stated is too steep given factors such as non-USA Nikon. Offer me what you think is is a fair deal.

Thanks for the quick response, nothing negative meant, it may be a repair issue for it here. I was thinking of selling my D300 and 18-200 lens since it's the end of the DX road for me and looking for an FX 2nd body.

I have used the D700 and it is a great camera.

I understand and hence would consider what you think is fair. For the repair itself, if needed, you'll likely need to find an authorized dealer/retailer that does nikon repairs. I believe many stores that service Nikons would also take care of imported Nikons. Nikon USA would most likely not repair bodies that are non-USA, unfortunately though its the same company and genuine Nikon articles.

You are right, seems silly to me they make them in one place and folks move all over the planet now days, customer support and service ought to be all that matters.
