Godox AD200 question

The Godox AD200 is a popular flash unit, and when the times comes that I need to add any additional flashes, I am interested in it. However, there seems to be a caveat. Since it lacks a hot shoe, it doesn't appear it can sync with any triggers other than one by Godox. So does that mean I wouldn't be able to simultaneously use my current Nikon flashes? I would have to use all Godox flashes with it?

EDIT: I have PocketWizard triggers....

There are 3.5mm sync cord jack and wireless control port to achieve multiple triggering methods.

Sounds like it uses a Godox trigger (wirelessly) or uses any other trigger via the 3.5mm port... i.e., a Youngnuo Nikon receiver plugged in with a 3.5mm cable would trigger that light... via a Youngnuo transmitter... I didn't see whether that light has an optic trigger built in. My AlienBee light has an optical trigger as well as the 3.5mm and works that way...

Edit to add: Yes, it does have an optical slave mode.

Thanks, Fred. I will do some digging to find out what is required. I haven't ever used a flash with the 3.5mm port and am guessing I need to use rubber bands or velcro to fasten the trigger to the flash. If I ever have to replace any of my Nikon flashes, I am leaning towards Godox...one at a time. ;)

That's pretty much what I do... sometimes I just let the Youngnuo receiver just hang by the little squiggly cable... but you can certainly use whatever's handy to tie it to the light and/or the stand... hang loose a few, I'll bet your PocketWizard has 3.5mm ports too...

Edit to add:... Just checked... PocketWizard has 3.5mm ports... all you need is a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable, and your PocketWizard trigger will plug right into the AD200 and you're in business...

Thanks, Fred! I was going to see what type of port the PocketWizard uses because I didn't know what type of cable I'd need. I appreciate the help. :)

I found this by MagMod made specifically to attach triggers to flash units. It's a set of 3 silicone bands. I will have to find out if they will fit on the Godox AD200 since it is a little bigger than a typical flash.
