Flashpoint R2 functionality

Hi there,

I recently picked up a Flashpoint R2 kit with two receivers and a transmitter as a wireless trigger for my SB700 and Sigma EF6100 Super Flash. Is anyone else using this setup? I had gotten mixed answers on whether or not the Nikon tuned R2 would work for the Sigma, and it had appeared to although every so often I could tell that the flash wasn't syncing up perfectly with the other and would cause a dark frame. I am on the fence of what to do and looking for advice.. Do I sell the Sigma and get a second Nikon flash, or, return the R2 kit and pony up for a Pocket Wizard set?

I am shooting with D810.

I am thinking that the issue is actually the Sigma flash not communicating with the R2 in sequence of the SB700. The SB700 reacts fairly quick to the change in zoom for example, whereas the Sigma lagged behind.

I may try to get some money back on the Sigma and put it towards a second SB700. Any idea where people list a near perfect condition Sigma EF610 Super Flash? In terms of price..
