Smaller flash for Nikon FM2n... Compact, any make!

Smaller flash for Nikon FM2n... Compact, any make!
I have a Nikon FM2n that I want to get a small compact flash for, manual or regular non-TTL auto is fine
I just need to use it for indoor stuff... grandkids that are no more than 15' away. I use a 28mm lens in these situations so, a powerful unit is not needed.

I have been looking at this one because it offers low GN#, tilt, manual, auto, TTL, and is a low profile unit.

I am aware of the SB-27, but this profile suits me better.....

Do know of any other options that are more like the profile in the above images?

    Thanks in advance.....

How much, or how little, do you want to spend? There's the Metz Mecablitz 26 AF-1 or the Nikon SB-300.

Both go for $150 or thereabouts.

    • GN 22 (wide)
    • GN 27 (less wide

dahell..for film? makes no sense. unless youre shooting people close up with a fisheye.

non ttl auto...you mean auto thyrister type flashes? hard to find. you might consider a used sb28 or a vivitar 283. both are excellent but I wouldnt wink for a millisecond and get the sb28. has it all.

Too big, I have a Sunpak A5000, only use it if I need a powerful flash. 90% of the time I just need a lower power flash. The one I had the flash tube failed. (Sunpak MG-1).
