I have had my YN568 for a couple of years now, for the last 6 months or so, I have noticed the battery door not holding closed properly.
Normally I take the batteries out when its not in use, but last week I left them in overnight because I knew I would be using it again the next day.
Went to use it the following day and noticed the battery door wouldn't close enough to keep the contacts on the batteries closed, the flash wouldn't work.
I have done a bit of googling, apparently this is a common problem with the flashes made around the same time as mine, the plastic tabs on the door break, the sticker on mine is July-13.

I found plenty of ebay sellers in HongKong and China selling them. Ordered 2 from a HK seller, $13aus delivered.
