My Yongnuo YN 300-II does not fit on my Nikon

I had a T3i. Now, I have a D3200. The Yongnuo YN 300-II I use to take pictures of books does not fit on it. I have looked everywhere for a replacement part. However, I have not found one. Can anyone give me some suggestions on what to do? I have sent emails to Yongnuo. No one ever responded.

So I am guessing the T3i is a Canon? Maybe that's why when you purchase a flash they specify canon or nikon, just an uneducated guess.

If this is the video light, you may want to verify that it does not just need a little bit of coercing into the hotshoe.

I could file down the metal, but it would be work.

The used D3200 I bought just came in. The YN 300-II fits.
