D5300 broken flash latch

My d5300 flash latch is broken. Where can i get this part on the internet ? or how can i repair this ?

My D3100 has the same issue. Broke over a year ago. I taped the flash down with black duct tape and kept on shooting.
Never used the on-board flash so it wasn't an issue.
I had planned to send it in to Nikon to fix the latch and get a 100,000mi check-up. I bought a D7100 instead.

I too am curious if it can be repaired by the owner.
I'm guessing both our cameras will have to go to Nikon or a reputable repair shop to get fixed.
