What is your Take

I have the Yongnuo YN-565EX I-TTL Flash Speedlite

i did not see if the Yongnuo YN560-IV has I-TTL or not. Depending on which camera you have that might be a consideration. But overall the Yongnuo gear is quite good.

No it doesn't have I-TTL and it's going on a D7100

The YN560 IV is an excellent manual only flash. I have one and also have the YN560 III and control both of them off camera with the YN560-TX. I also have a YN565EX iTTL flash. All are awesome. I highly recommend them. You can order them from a guy called Tim Payne on Facebook.

if you have the skill to use the 560 IV on camera in manual then fantastic. you can also use it to control other 560III/IV flash off camera as well as a master TX style controller. it also can be used as a slave off camera for studio lighting. in other words its an excellent flash. you can use a cheap 40 buck battery pack and get 1 second recycle in 1 second flat. only thing its missing to be a perfect manual flash is HSS.
build quality is excellent, lcd is excellent and the buton layout is very easy to use. I own/ed many flashes and I prefer the 3r party flashes more than the 4 nikon flashes I have. I have 2 sb800 1 sb700 and 1 sb900 and going to sell them all to go with shanny/yongnuo flashes exclusively
