I'm planning to go to Indianapolis on 4/12

Wanted to do the Indpls one, but I have to work that day, so I have to pass -- look forward to hearing about from those who do get to go.

Does anyone know what style of teaching will be done? I've been to the Nikon "workshops" where there is 200 to 300 attendees in an auditorium with the teacher doing mostly lecture and demonstrating, and not much student hands on work.

I've been to a Joe McNally event and it was auditorium based as you described. Amazing to see the results and thought process. I considered the event I attended as more entertainment than education.

That's what I thought. Instead I would recommend going to a Nikonians workshop. They do a really good job teaching and do a lot of student hands on.

Ya, I would imagine any event headlined by Hobby and McNally would be more spectacle than a hands-on learning experience.
