I know Nikon makes the SD-9 external battery pack for the SB900.
I have 2 that I use frequently, and I've been having the typical overheating problem with them.
What I've read indicates that an external battery pack will help with this. But, the SD-9 is $200+
I'm not afraid to spend the $200, but there are other options one must consider when getting in that neighborhood.
Has anyone used one of the knock-off SD-9 replicas floating around? Or some other external battery system?
Pros/Cons/Opinions?
