Dust specks

Any suggestions to get dust specks out of the viewfinder? Love these old cameras but stuff like that drives me nuts. I got a feeling I need to learn to live with it, my bigger problem is I can’t stop finding old nikons to buy, I justify it by thinking about how much the cost when they came out new.
I just realized that I called these cameras old and I am older than any I have purchased, the oldest being 1970.......oh well.

They don't affect the image, so I just ignore them. It would probably cost far more than the camera is worth just to clean it. Unless you send it in for a complete CLA.

If you have removable viewfinder and screen a rocket blower will suffice, I have a Bronica and Nikon F4s easy but the FM you have to live with it if gets above the focus screen.

Thread resurrection. :)

I had a distinct black speck in the pentaprism of my F60.

As the focus screen is fixed with no access it was either live with it or take risky drastic action.

A couple of quick sharp knocks on the table dislodged it to who knows where :untroubled:.
