Question for F3 users

I'm looking at buying an F3 HP & MD4 that I have seen. The owner describes as follows
"All functions and shutter speeds are correctly working except the film release button (needs to be held in whilst rewinding)
The Rewind with the drive works flawlessly
NB without the Drive the film release button needs to be held in while rewinding"

Looking through the usser manual it seems not to say that the button only needs to be momentarily pressed which makes me think there is no fault.

Can someone verify whether this is a fault please ?

I used to own a Minolta XG-M, and I'd push the button without holding it. The Nikon F3 appears to work in a similar fashion. Here is a video where a guy shows how to rewind the film. Looks to work in the same manner (push the button and let go before rewinding). Start at 33 seconds.

F3 is in the house. It's in very good condition, & comes with an MD4, but needs new seals. Can't wait to put a film through it.

Yes, I'm liking the F3. I have put a couple of rolls through it but have only developed the negs so far & don't have any pics I can share. The camera feels very well built & solid.
