Have to agree here. Most of us probably use dark themes with LR/PS/... Do we have the option here?

No dark theme here. My monitor is somewhat darker already because it's calibrated with a Spyder device. I'd prefer the see the brightness and colors as they originally look for accuracy on my calibrated monitor.

Are we talking about the same thing here? 'Dark theme' means that the background of your text areas and control elements is black or gray, the text is usually light gray or white, only the pictures themselves have full color and brightness. In other words: not much on the monitor distracts from the pictures. :)

It, a neutral gray background , would be better. Since One has to blow out whites in the images, for them to not-appear-dim, compared with a lit , white screen.
