    Need help

    On my D60 it shows in the view finder error press shutter release button again.
    i have follow this and nothing happens it just goes back to the same error messagee,and suggestions would be helpful.

    Welcome aboard. Enjoy the ride.

    I did a Google search for "viewfinder error press shutter release button again". Unfortunately the results appear to point to a serious camera problem requiring repair. Hopefully someone else might have a better solution for you.

    It is not a normal "published" error. But there is quite a bit about this on Google, varied stories.

    I would try to do a reset to factory default:
    "To restore Nikon D60 to its factory settings, just hold down the [Playback zoom in] button and the [Active D-Lighting] button together, until the control panel turns off briefly while the camera resets itself to the factory default settings."
