Navigation problems

Why, when I come to the site, do I only see the Sub Forums? If I want to get onto any of the other sections, I need to open my profile and choose one of my previous posts. Has there been a change while I've been away?

I use this link when I go to the forum http://nikonites.com/search.php?searchid=4917128#axzz4FGmMJzKH this link carries me directly to the "What's New" page. That way I only see the new post first. I can go anywhere from there. I also decide which ones I want to read and read those always clicking on What's new to go back to the refreshed list. When I see all the ones of interest I click on the "Mark Forums Read" Link and it clears the list for the next time I check in. This keeps me current on what is new and I can see what [SUB]trouble makers [/SUB]I mean new interesting posts I want to read.
