Lens Info in EXIF

I've noticed that sometimes the lens is listed in the EXIF data when you mouse over an image and sometimes it is not.
it is not on my images.
Is that something I can control?

Sometimes the EXIF data is stripped by the author prior to uploading. The hosting site may not support displaying EXIF data as well.

I do not deliberately strip anything, indeed I select include all EXIF in the settings.

As for 'hosting site' I'm uploading directly to this site.

This would be a question for the site's Admin then.

It also might be the post processing software you are using.

I posted one of mine just to see if it listed the Lens or not . I use Lightroom to export for here

Could be, I use Corel

Some software strip the Exif data while saving. I use NX-D and that preserves the Exif, but IrfanView and some Microsoft software do not.

The recently prior version of Lightroom was not writing the lens info.
