recently had a problem myself and discovered my firewall software (eset) was stopping it for some reason switched it off and it worked fine.

That's good to know. I just installed ESET a week or so ago so I'll keep watch and see if it affects my uploads with Chrome.

pop op it into Interactive mode to start with them move to auto later on, I'd probably not allowed something and created a rule that stopped me uploading altho I've no idea what..

eset is one of the best I've used it for years, nod32 is just a hack for eset so you can have it for free, makes no odds which you have there's a hack for it somewhere if you know where to look

here is what i did to fix this:
go advanced reply
click the add attachments paper clip
when the box opens copy the url from the address bar

open eset advanced setup
in the tree find web access protection
and then http, https
address management
on the right hand side click the drop down to select allowed addresses
then add
then paste the url into there
click ok

it should now allow the uploads

adding a picture via the ipad doesn't work too well if you go down the attachment route you cant move them into the bottom section, clicking the tick box doesnt work either..
(using safari)
