Automatic logout after 5 minutes of inactivity?

After logging on, if I'm inactive for a short period (5-10 minutes), I'm automatically logged out and have to log back on again. I've looked for a way to fix this in my settings and tried to find the answer in Feedback and Suggestions, but I've been unable to find anything useful.
I can't get the "remember me" function to work either.
I bet as soon as I hit "Submit New Thread" I'm going to get a "not logged in" notification because I've been busy writing this.

Thanks Marilynne. I haven't found any "Keep Me Logged In" button. eBay has one, but none here.
Not a big deal anyway. Just a minor inconvenience.
On a side note, I think your photos are great.

At login on top right of screen, where you enter your user name & password, there is a box to tick directly underneath

I thought "Remember Me" referred to my password.
