Why are my images ADVERTISING for CORKBOARD.com??????

JDEG and any other MODERATOR....

I did a SEARCH for Corkboard on this site and found nothing.

See this image below.....

Why are MY IMAGES being used to ADVERTISE for CORKBOARD?? I would like this stopped IMMEDIATELY!!

Please provide me with a full explanation.

I logged out and went thru your images and I didn't see anything different from when I'm logged in. I clicked on the image and I just saw a bigger version, I hovered my pointer over the image and I just saw the name of your image. Is there something more I have to do or ?

​This is what I did...I LOGGED OUT.

I went to my post with the Military uniforms.

I clicked on them, when they opened, the add is there.Best I can tell you....I tried it on the SWAN I posted earlier, same type of ad, different look.

Editing and posting in a minute to show you.

I tried it again on these specific images and I don't see anything different. Can anyone else reading this thread reproduce what photowyzard is posted?

I did not see it BUT I can tell you that the site does have ads to cover the costs of running this site. The fact the you can only see it when you are NOT logged in tells me that we are not having to see those additional ads when we are registered members.

Personally I had rather see the ads than have to pay to be a member of this forum. Where else can you have unlimited upload space like we do here? Facebook does and it also has ads, Google does and has ads.

Same here, I've done it 4 times now and I don't see anything different either. I'm using a PC and Chrome. I don't think the ad is coming from our site, is there a chance the ad is being placed there by your browser somehow?

I see it on your posts but it doesn't seem to be a system wide event since others cannot see it. I think we need to call in John.

Well, that is fine and dandy, but EVERY image I have has a COPYRIGHT attached to it and:

1) I like to be ASKED first
2) you can't assume you can take my images and use them to generate income without my approval

This is an ABSOLUTE NO-NO.... sorry.

Please get to the bottom of what is going on.

Try posting a NEW test image and see if this spam attaches itself to a newer post.

I tried to recreate on my Mac using Firefox without success. Has ANYONE else been able to recreate it? The reason I'm asking is from a troubleshooting perspective to see if it is originating from the site or local PC unless John has an answer.
