Day Three of broken leg

This stinks. I am stuck at home because I can't drive with the right leg in a cast. I guess I could move to England so that I could drive but that seems a little extreme. Also because of the recent rotator cuff surgery I can't use crutches or a walker either. The answer is something called a knee walker.

Very odd little contraption but at least I can get around the house in it.

NOW I can wish you a speedy recovery. I just wanted to make sure that you weren't feeling sorry for yourself!

And from what I've seen, Dallas can use you just like you are!

Not feeling sorry for myself other than not being able to shoot every day. The last surgery I could not shoot for a few weeks and it about drove me crazy.

BUMMER. BRIGHTSIDE, LOTS OF TIME WITH PHOTOSHOP.

Problem with that is that the main photoshop computer is a desktop and I would have to sit with my foot down. Will have to settle with the Laptop version for now. They are both CS6 and loaded with Nic Tools but the desktop and two big monitors and has a lot more memory.

I feel for you my friend! I hope you heal up soon! I think a chainsaw motor might work better on the scooter! Lol I've seen kids scooters and scateboards with them, and it looked like they work great! Lol :D

Aww. Got some heel splits so my mobility is a bit hindered as well. Feel better man! And in UK/Japan, you still use your right foot for gas. Now, driving in snowboarding boots sounds about the same as a cast with slightly better flex (or not really).

know what you mean. Been on a knee walker for 6 weeks... feels like years. Shattered right ankle and compression fracture of the calcaneus so I can't drive either. Got a 10 inch scar and lots of pins and a plate holding everything together, Weight bearing will happen sometime next month.

I am designing a better knee walker as we speak. Pneumatic tires, something that will take sidewalks and outdoors better. Maybe a small shock absorber as well. and a better break system.
