My husband (and Sony diehard) decided that this would be a good thing for us to attend an evening Seminar and Saturday Workshop with Vincent Versace, Nikon Ambassador. Tickets were $99 each. Has anyone else gone to anything like this? I hope it's worth it! I couldn't talk him out of it. (I might have rather put $200 towards a new lens).

I’ve gone to a couple evening seminars, but not had the chance to follow up with the Saturday workshop. The most recent one I did was with Joe McNally. It sounds like a great time to me! What kind of shooting is Vincent known for?

He believes in having a balance of landscape and portrait work. Looking up some of his galleries, I would say travel which includes the land and its people.

He was the #2 employee at NIK Collection.

He wrote (among other things), "From OZ to Kansas: Almost Every Black and White Conversion Technique Known to Man" (when I spell O-z I get an "Aussie" emoji!)
Very technical workshop/lecture, but we enjoyed it and got a lot out of it.
