What do you think of the colors in this photo?

I am slowly learning about setting manual WB on my cameras. I know it's somewhat of a hard question to ask since no one really knows what the colors are "supposed" to be, but what do you think of the colors in this photo? To me, the whites seem white, blacks seem black and the orange is as it is in real life. I don't have a grey card, so i just used a piece of white paper under the light i was taking the photo.
Any other tips for manually setting WB without a grey card?

The whites of the car are slightly pink/brown. I loaded the JPEG in PS and checked (217,197,170). It looks whiter because the paper below isn't as white. The blacks are ok, they range from 0,0,0 to slightly higher which is normal. Orange looks good too but it's hard to use a reference for that.

It might match reality, I don't know about that.

I don't have the screen to really discern, but I see an orange tint to the shadows to the rear of the car and a blue tint to the shadows to the front of the car. Just curious if there were two light sources?

Thanks for checking :) The whites may be off since they are decals and are sitting on top of the orange. The decals are slightly "transparent". Certainly needing more practice, correct practice, in manually setting the wb. Thanks again

I agree, the seemless background I would suppose should be white. It looks off to me. Leaning to the orange side. Just off. Not very Nikony colors.

I tweaked your shot just a little... I cooled the WB ever so slightly and dialed back on the Red channel.

I had a desk lamp over the model and then there was the main room light that was on. Not sure if the two light fixtures have different bulbs or not.

The photo is just for my blog and not anything serious, so i don't want anyone to dissect it to much.

I painted pure white over it to show the difference. The new version is still slightly pink. It's pretty hard getting colors exactly right.

If it's not too important then it looks white enough for me. ;)
