Capital One Shopping Browser Extension

Several weeks ago I added the Capital One Shopping extension to Chrome but didn't use it until today. While checking out at B&H, I hovered over the prompt that stated it found 10 codes. Most didn't work as it toggled through automatically. Most promos were clearly for sales such as Black Friday. Yet one code worked and saved me $10.99 on my order. I have no idea what the code was though as it isn't specifically listed in the order's history. :beguiled:

Not sure if the browser extension is available for Firefox since I don't use Firefox when placing orders.

I haven't used "Crapital" One in years. They are not to be trusted. Several years ago I had a credit card bill that was due on Labor Day. I had sent in my payment on time. However, on Tuesday, I got an email adding a penalty charge for a late payment. I contacted them and they said, "Yes, we have your payment." So I replied, "Gee, if you have my payment and you could not have received my payment on Labor Day or Sunday, how is my payment late?" They never really answered my question, but said they would cancel the late penalty charge! How nice of them. And if I had not spent my time calling them, they would have happily remove my penalty payment. I cancelled my credit card with them immediately and have not used them since.

Sorry to hear about your problem. What I posted has nothing to do with a credit card. It just searches the internet to locate the best price. However, I had no idea it also searched for valid codes. The nice thing is I can go in to my extensions and turn it off so it doesn't track what I do online until I decide I might need it.

Yeah, you can use the extension even if you don't have a card with Capital One. As far as your problem, Brent, I am not surprised. I got a Visa card from my credit union years ago and have never looked back.
