I stopped in at my local camera shop today. Hunt photo on N. Main St. in Providence Rhode Island.
Major influx of used Nikon professional gear. Pair of Nikon D3s a D4s and astounding collection of glass.... 300 f2.8 VR, 600 F4 VR and an 800!!! AF Ed !!!
sales rep told me the number of pros are trading in D3's and D4's the new D5's.... And a couple of local burgers and found the pro level Nikon lenses too heavy to carry and had traded in and downsized from more lightweight pro sumer Nikon glass.
Just a public service announcement! I have no connection at all to hunt photo Providence other than being an extremely satisfied customer from previous deals.
