I use this program and have used it for images up to 6 feet. Outstanding program! It's one to have and just let it sit there until you need it.

Sounds great, but I got the feeling I won't need it using the D800e.lol Now if I had plenty of money to spend, I would likely buy it just in case. But I no longer have "money to spend" so I'm not likely going to be buying prints for some time anyway!lol :D

But it sounds cool, and seems like a great option to have available for when needed!:D

Never heard of it, but it sounds interesting. So what companies offer such large prints? Moab Man who have you used?

The image size for the D750 is 6016 x 4016 which is about a 13X20 at 300DPI (see form at http://auctionrepair.com/pixels.html) so even if you are doing 16X20 you will really get better results by upsizing the original file corectly.

I use Nations Photo Lab and they do 30X45 inch prints. I played with the software at different sizes and it really does hold up a lot better then just upsizing in Photoshop.

Thanks, Don. I never realized Nations could print that large! ;)

I had tried Nations before and it was with disastrous results and the paper was really thin. Consequently, I have all my work done locally at a real camera store, hard to believe there are actually still some camera stores around. :)

Thanks for that info!!! Will definitely look elsewhere if I need to print larger than 24"x36". ;)

i always have any prints I have done mounted on backer board of some type. I have used them a number of times and really like their service and prints.

I know many people are happy with their work. For me, I found I could get photos locally on thicker archival paper, faster, and cheaper. Not to mention I can't miss a deadline when the image shows up mangled. Their customer service when the photo first didn't show up was horrendous and I had just given up when it arrived mangled. No, I didn't give them a chance to make it right. Just took it as a lesson learned.

But, I do know many people have had very good experiences with them and if it works for them then I'm glad they have found a match.
