Firmware update problem

My D90 ,firmware version is:

A. 1.00
B. 1.00
L. 1.002

I have just downloaded the firmware update. NKLD02005.bin, formatted an SD card on the camera, this gave me a root directory of DCIM, put the SD card into a card reader and dragged the bin file into the DCIM directory. Put the SD card into the camera, went to firmware version and there was only a 'Done' there wasn't an 'Update' option. I don't quite understand what I have done wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in anticipation

Move the .bin file out of the DCIM directory and onto the card itself, E: -- or whatever your computer sees it as. DCIM *is* a sub-folder and as such is no longer the "root" directory.

Once the .bin is on E: (or whatever drive letter it is on your PC) your camera will be able to see the update file and apply it.

Thank you very very much. I just downloaded that file and it worked with no problems. I don't know where I got that other bin file from. :D:D
