Wow, impressed with video!!!

I did a corporate video shoot yesterday and decided to use my D90 along side my little video camera. All I have to say is it out performed HUGE!!! White balance, sound, brightness, color everything. I dare say I'll be retiring the video camera even though i just bought it six months ago and used it three times... lol Very impressed with the results... it's like night and day. I'll post a link as soon as I edit a couple of sample clips..

I noticed good results with my d5000 in the video department as well, although I haven't used it much for this purpose. It's also missing auto-focus unlike the new d3100 and d7000. blah

I'm glad your experience with the D90 video camera has been good. The few times I have tried it it's been out of focus. I didn't buy the camera for the video aspect so I don't mind so much but it is frustrating.

I find it extremely fiddly unless you have it set on a tripod and don't plan on touching it during recording. Other than that, it's fine

it does depend what you're videoing!! i did the night glow at the bristol balloon festival and if set on infinity and use small ap then its great!!!

i had a two min video of the balloons glowing in time to the music and had very useable results
