D850 focus stacking

Anybody here experiment with focus stacking with their d850 yet? I'm a little intrigued by this feature, and hope to try something soon, just curious other folks results, and what software you are using. Thinking CS6 may be able to combine these images.

OK, decided to try this for myself. Interesting results. Just an exercise, so just grabbed something off the shelf to photograph. Just shot JPG format, and f2.8 to narrow DOF. This composite is from 18 images. Used CS6 to align then merge the layers.

I want to try this with a landscape. Possibly overkill but I'm curious to see what a series at 5.6 with a rectilinear will get me.
Will the difference (improvement?) be obvious or ?

I think from my research the results can be very dramatic. To have rocks at your feet and infinity both in focus would be fantastic. For example, here is the first and last photo of the group of photos I used:_8513986.jpg_8514003-2.jpg
